Meet her 1st born son Royal Corravale born 04/05/05 - Sadly Deceased
Elvera was bought as an six year old, born 98 and in Foal to Corravale (Holsteiner) from Greenvale Stud standing at 16.2hh, she is an ex race horse with a very loveable nature. She was bred by HRH Queen Elizabeth, she is a very sensative girl, with her being an ex race horse. She is getting retrained slowly to become a showjumper and is coming along great Apparently she was quite good as a race horse but she appears to be a good showjumper aswell, maybe a speed horse in the future, and a very good mum. Her first foal is Royal Corravale, born early hours of 04/05/05.   He takes after his Dam for her speed and both mum and dad for there jumping ability.

We are very lucky to still have her here, as at the beginning of May 06 she came down with severe colic, It was touch and go whether we would have to have her put down or whether she'd have to have surgery.   It was Wednesday 10th May we was hoping to get away earlier than normal to be able to go shopping, around 7.30pm, but one thing lead to another and we ended up staying, when Martin brought Ellie in she was fine then about 5 minutes later (whilst we were getting her tea) she starts sweating up, pacing up and down, trying to get down, stamping and looking at her flanks, martin shouted us and said that there was something wrong with her, we checked her over by this time it was 10.15pm, we suspected she had colic, so we started walking her around, whilst ringing the vet, the vet came out, checked her over and she told us she had a distaughted gut The severest form of colic, she gave us a few choices, either she came back in 4hrs and her probably be dead or get her into Leahurst hospital A.S.A.P, luckily when we got there the fluid that she had been loosing looked normal so we was told that we had a 24hr window before any surgery, where she was observed constantly, with the combination of fast acting on our part and the medication and drip that the hospital gave her, she was saved from having to have surgery and there were no more signs of colic, she was still very seriously ill but on the mend.   She was admitted for 4 days then she came home.

She is now back in full health and has now had another foal to our Winnetou, Born 05/05/07
Elvera gave birth to a healthy colt on 05/05/07 at 11.55pm, mare and foal doing very well, foals name TK Royal Tristar.
